Fred. Olsen Returns to Newcastle for Spring and Summer Sailings

Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines returned to Newcastle on Saturday, March 15, 2025, offering spring and summer sailings to Norway, Portugal, Spain, Scotland, France and the Mediterranean.
Doug Glenwright, guest experience director at Fred. Olsen, said: “We’re delighted to be returning to the Port of Tyne to mark the start of our 2025 cruises from Newcastle.”
The company said in a press release that the arrival marks the first time Fred. Olsen’s Borealis has visited the Port of Tyne, where its inaugural call was celebrated.
The Borealis departed Saturday for Newcastle for the 10-night “In Search of the Northern Lights” cruise.
According to the press release, Fred. Olsen’s 2025 departure ports include Newcastle, Liverpool, Portsmouth, Southampton, Dover, Rosyth and Southampton.
